Antler is a global early-stage venture capital firm. This privacy notice explains how we collect, use, and share personal data in compliance with the EU GDPR.
1. Definition of Personal Data
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, as defined by the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the EU GDPR.
2. Data We Collect
Antler Korea collects the following personal data: • Personal information: name, gender, date of birth, photo, nationality, professional qualifications • Contact information: email, phone number, address • Employment/business information: title, company, experience, LinkedIn profile • Application information: resume, intro video, education, tech stack, industry • Communication information: email and message content • Financial and due diligence information • Technical information: IP address, browser info, cookies • Authentication information: OAuth login (Google, LinkedIn, Naver) account data
3. How We Collect Data
Direct collection: • When you submit an application (Apply portal) • When you upload a resume or record an intro video • When you respond to surveys and feedback • Through cookies when visiting our website • When attending events Indirect collection: • Profile information via OAuth login (Google, LinkedIn, Naver) • LinkedIn profile data (with consent) • Website usage patterns via analytics tools
4. How We Use Data
• Founder recruitment and evaluation: Application assessment, selection round • Residency operations: Selection round management, advisor matching, Investment Committee • Portfolio management: Managing portfolio company and founder information • Events: On-site recording and photography • Website operations: User authentication, service improvement • Marketing: Track announcements, newsletters (with consent) • Investment reporting: LP (limited partner) reporting
5. Sharing with Third Parties
Data processing partners: • Supabase (database hosting — AWS ap-northeast-2, Seoul) • Vercel (website hosting) • Google Workspace (internal communication) Investors/Advisors/Partners: Data may be shared based on explicit consent. Antler Global: Data may be shared with Antler Innovation Pte Ltd (Singapore) for global network operations. Data may be shared without consent when required by law, to protect life, prevent fraud, or in legitimate legal proceedings.
6. Data Retention & Security
We ensure security through technical and organizational measures: • Data is stored encrypted on Supabase (AWS Seoul region) • Files (resumes, videos) are stored on Supabase Storage • Row Level Security (RLS) controls access permissions • Applicant data is retained for up to 3 years after selection round completion, then deleted or anonymized • Portfolio founder data is retained for the duration of the investment relationship

We may send marketing communications via email and SMS. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting korea@antler.co or replying STOP to SMS messages.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Under Korean PIPA and the GDPR, you have the following rights: • Right of access: Request to view your personal data • Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate information • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data • Right to suspend processing: Request suspension of data processing • Right to object: Object to the processing of your personal data • Right to data portability: Request transfer to another organization • Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw previously given consent Response deadline: 10 days (PIPA) or 1 month (GDPR).
9. Cookies
Cookies are text files used to understand website usage patterns: • Essential cookies: Login sessions, language settings • Analytics cookies: Website usage statistics (Vercel Analytics) You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
10. International Transfers
To provide our services, personal data may be transferred to Singapore (Antler Innovation Pte Ltd), the United States (Vercel, Supabase AWS), and other locations. Appropriate safeguards are in place for all transfers.
